Memorialising places no longer accessible, the Sites of Experience series acknowledges the contribution and impact of people around me in creating who I am today.
Responsive to the effects of redevelopment, progress and the passing of time on architecture - and in turn how this shapes and changes the lived experience of these places - this series seeks to capture and hold onto the positive and generative feelings of these sites, created by the people within them. Although the physical site did not create these experiences, they are a symbol of that moment in time and thus a landmark of a period in my personal development.
